Jeff Peterson

President

Jeff is responsible for the management and operation of Rice Camera Technologies. He joins the company with an extensive track record growing technical businesses. Over the course of his career Jeff has developed relationships with major OEMs, built national distribution channels, and managed teams in the United States and internationally. His experience ranges from founding an entrepreneurial startup to managing teams for a large multinational company.

Jeff holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University.


Jay Rice

Jay has helped numerous OEMs, military prime contractors, and U.S. government agencies with the selection, integration, and on-going use of standard and modified industrial cameras. He has supplied millions of dollars worth of high-end cameras to the most advanced commercial and military imaging systems. Jay formed Rice Camera Technologies to pursue innovative imaging technologies and better serve the imaging requirements of large OEMs and military prime contractors. Prior to starting Rice Camera Technologies, Jay was the President and CEO for the US subsidiary of another camera manufacturer headquartered in Europe. During his tenure there Jay grew the company into a highly profitable, multi-million dollar operation.

Jay’s experience in imaging includes providing imaging products and services to leading semiconductor manufacturers and military prime contractors. He has supported key imaging programs in applications ranging from interferometry to airborne targeting pods. Jay was also responsible for supplying CCD cameras for NASA’s first ever commercial camera system to detect heat shield integrity aboard the space shuttle.

Jay holds a Post-MBA Certificate of Advanced Management studies from the F.W. Olin School of Business at Babson College, an MBA from Bentley College, and a B.S. in Finance from MCLA.

Jay is no longer involved in Rice Camera operations and now serves as an Advisor to Rice Camera Technologies while he pursues his new company.
